BOB KERRIDGE ODE RAVENSHOE 8th NOVEMBER

Great fun was had by all the kids (big & small) - don't miss this event next year!

Ravenshoe's Bob Kerridge Memorial ODE started with beautiful weather on the Saturday afternoon with dressage tests running early. Not much separated the riders until the famously tight showjump course took its toll....

On Saturday night the hosts cooked some very tasty meals & all was good until the rain started overnight...

The cross country was very slippery but at least it went ahead with a larger than normal contingent from the geriatric group! Lisa Tanner of Gordonvale Pony Club was very happy to have kept her trophy for another year!

MALANDA ZONE GYMKHANA 25th OCTOBER

Malanda Zone18 gymkhana had over 100 riders. It was the Wynn family's 2nd gymkhana and their first trip up the Gillies. Jodi's children are Jake on the little dun pony with a friend, Jen, leading him, Kayli on Willow, the black galloway and Rhiannon on Flame, the grey. They all really enjoyed themselves and ribbons were won!

GORDONVALE RIDERS DO WELL AT ATHERTON GYMKHANA

Emma's horse Mitch was lame so Yvonne Frizzo kindly loaned Emma her horse Kemmet to ride. We went to Atherton Gymkhana where they had a very successful, fun filled day and Emma after winning lots of ribbons, came third in her age group aggregate. This is Emma and Kemmet after arriving home at Yvonne's
This is Tiarni Kenderdine who is one of our youngest members on her horse Xtra Special. Tiarni and her mum Eileen competed with Emma at Atherton Gymkhana where Tiarni won 10 ribbons and an encouragement medallion. Tiarni was tickled pink as you can imagine.
