Neitah Norman ~ Instructor

Neitah Norman was born and bred in Cairns; she first showed interest in horses at the age of 6 climbing a Clydesdale's leg that was tethered across the road.
Thanks to very supportive parents, a lot of time, money and effort the equine career boasted many championships both regional and state, particularly in the field of Dressage.
Neitah was a member of Cairns Pony Club for over 10 years. It was a great starting place & she qualified for several certificates there which in turn led her to State High School representation.
At 14, Neitah managed to become a Prelim level judge, at 20 years of age she became a National Accredited Coach Level 1 and represented Australia in a Dressage Derby in Hong Kong. Being chosen to ride again at Qld's Own International event in a team of two for Australia, deeply entrenched Neitahs equine experience. This was followed by a 2 and a half year stint overseas in Europe working for the likes of Martin Schaudt (Atlanta Olympics) & Jurgen Koschel (Sydney Olympics).
Neitah, with the help of a very large Holsteiner by the name of Monlander and countless instructors over the years managed a place in the State Squad and equal 9th in Australia on the Keiffer leaderboard shown in the Horse Magazine. In April last year Neitah got picked to ride for Australia in India in a team of 3.
Although Neitah retired from Judging after 18 years and can no longer ride full time due to injury she still teaches privately, trains horses and does schools for clubs around the Far North.
